What Is an
Exhaust Cutout?
An exhaust cutout is a specialized Y-pipe mechanism installed in a vehicle’s exhaust pathway, typically positioned before the muffler or catalytic converter. By activating a valve, it allows exhaust gases to bypass the restrictive factory muffling system, venting directly to the atmosphere.
A well-engineered cutout exhaust system provides the best of both worlds: quiet, street-legal operation when the valve is closed, and maximum horsepower with an aggressive exhaust note when open.

1. What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is one carton (typically 6 units of the same size). You can mix sizes in a shipment, provided they fill full cartons, making it easy for shops to run trial orders.
2. How are the electric valves controlled?
Every kit includes a wireless remote exhaust cutout module. We also include a hardwired exhaust cutout switch in every box as a fail-safe backup for your customers.
3. What is the production lead time?
Fast-moving SKUs (like our 2.5" and 3" single-valve kits) are kept in stock and can ship within 7 days. Volume orders or Y-pipe dual-valve configurations typically require a 30-day production lead time.
4. Do you offer an after-sales warranty on motors?
Yes. Through our 5% Spare Motor Rule, we pack 5 extra motors for every 100 kits ordered, allowing your shop to handle immediate field replacements without waiting for overseas RMAs.
